Landing the Air Marshal

by Jennifer Blackwood Snowpocalypse #1 Publication Date: September 12, 2016 Genres: Adult, Entangled: Brazen, Contemporary Romance

Synopsis: It was meant to be a one-night stand. One wicked night with an irresistibly sexy passenger. That’s all Air Marshal Gage Michaels can afford–his career comes before everything else. Too bad the snowpocalpyse of the century has different plans for him and Abby Winters. Before the night’s over, they find themselves snowed in at the most luxurious hotel in the city.Abby’s scouting job of a NYC penthouse should be quick, simple, and definitely shouldn’t include a sexy-as-hell man messing up the 3000 count sheets that will be featured in her company’s next blockbuster hit. Not when she’s up for a promotion that could skyrocket her entire career in the film industry. Still, she can’t refuse what the weather gods so obviously want her to have. She’ll give in, just this once. Leaving is tougher than either of them could have imagined. But they’re two people who have nothing in common, living on opposite coasts. There’s no way they can ever be together. Right?

My Rating:
3.5 out of 5 stars

My Review:
This is the first book that I've read by Jennifer Blackwood and I really ended up enjoying it.  Landing the Air Marshall was a quick, steamy and fun romance.

Abby is a workaholic, control freak who is absolutely terrified of flying but wants to see the whole world.  Gage starts off as a man that has no time for romantic entanglements but starts to rethink his life and his wants as the story goes on.  They live on opposite coasts so they both agree to a no strings attached time while they are together but both end up wanting more.

The chemistry between the two of them was off the charts hot!  This is a Brazen title by Entangled so if super steamy moments aren't you're thing then you are probably going to want to skip this one because they go at it like bunnies!

My only criticism is that I wish things were tied up a little better at the end.  We are left with a really sweet epilogue but the MCs still have no idea where they are going to live...after a year of being together.  Things like that bug me a little bit but may not bug other people as much.

** I received an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are my own.  **

  1. Ooooh! I really liked the cover! Steamy romances are always my thing, if and only if they have good plot development. Sounds like another unresolved ending though, it would be great if it could be more of an absolute HEA! Thanks for your review, I'd be adding to my TBR!

    1. I love a good steamy romance too, but I wish there was just a little bit more of a story with this one. I can't stand unresolved endings, that's one of my biggest pet peeves in books. I hope you enjoy it!

  2. I haven't read any of her books, but I do generally like the books I've tried from the Brazen line. I'm like you, Julie. I want my ending wrapped up tight with no questions left.

    Nice review.

    1. Thanks so much! I like a good sturdy HEA with no loose ends at all. lol! I'm spoiled like that. haha! I really enjoy the Brazen line as well.
