Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ and to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received.

I didn't get too many new books this week because I wasn't sure I would be able to keep up now that I have a fulltime job.

I also won't be around for the linkup next weekend because we are going to be out of town visit family.  My husband's grandma passed away and they wanted to get everyone together to release her ashes on Saturday.

A Week In My Life:

This week definitely had it's ups and downs for me.

The good - I successfully survived my first full week at my new job!  It went pretty well.  There is a ton of new information to learn but I'm sure I will get it soon.  I feel like I've been catching on fast.

Our daughter did really well with her first week of being away from home/me (I've been a stay at home since she was born) since, I started working this week .  She was really excited and kept talking about all the fun she had at my friend's, my mom's, and my father in laws place throughout the week.  Next week she starts daycare, so fingers crossed that she enjoys it.

I've scheduled a giveaway for almost every day this week, because it's my birthday week (my b-day is the 29th, Friday)!  The only day that I forgot to schedule a giveaway was Monday, but be sure to stop by for the others.

The bad - I had one REALLY stressful day at work and thought I was going to have a panic attack afterwards (I have anxiety issues) but I had a much better day at work the next day.

I had the stomach flu.  It was awful. Not going into details. lol

My grandma was in the hospital again.  She has COPD, emphysema, and is on oxygen.  She was having a lot of trouble breathing and they couldn't get her heart-rate down.  She is now home and doing a bit better.

    1. It's been a really long time since I was sick like that, but it was awful. Thankfully it didn't last too long. My training week is over now so I hope my regular week goes well. We'll see, I guess. Then eventually I have to find a way to balance fulltime work, wife and momma duties, and blogging. Not enough time in the day! lol

Hope you have a great week too!

  7. Anxiety is the worst, but glad to hear you worked through it. Starting a new job is always a stressful experience, especially when you've been out of the workforce for a bit. You can do this!

  8. Sorry that it has been such a mixed week for you, worrying about family health issues as well as a funeral. I hope that things improve for all of you. On the plus side it's good that you are settling into your new job as these are nervous times! Fingers crossed you are feeling better *hugs*

  9. Sorry I missed catching up with you on the ACTUAL Sunday Post. I have just had a tough couple of weeks with timing! But I did want to stop by to see how things went for your week at work and how DD did being away from you. I'm glad that you had a successful week on both counts!

Hope you have a really fantastic birthday week and I'll catch up with you again when you are back at it. :)
