My Life Lately:
This week went super fast for me.  How about you?  I tried to get a little bit of shopping done while my husband was at work but ended up getting a call from daycare saying that I had to pick up my daughter because she got sick a few times.  I felt horrible.  I hate seeing her sick.  She had a sinus infection a couple weeks ago, then a cough, and then a couple days ago a stomach bug.  Poor kiddo.  It seems to have passed already so that's good.  And that was her last day of daycare so she won't be exposed to as many germs, I guess.

This weekend we are FINALLY going to put up our Christmas tree and decorate and then go to see the Christmas lights and Santa (as long as the weather cooperates).

  1. Gah, winter bugs and nasties! Mind you, I seem to get more summer colds than winter virues. I guess I like to be different...I'm just waiting for my last Amazon things to arrive and I won't be buying anything until the new year!

    1. I always get the weird summer colds too. My husband and daughter are the opposite. The most I usually get are sinus issues because the weather is crazy here near Pittsburgh. It's warmer one day and then freezing the next. You did shopping the smart way! lol I normally do a lot of online shopping so I don't have to brave the grumpy shoppers. This year I was a slacker. lol

  5. I hope your daughter is feeling better. It seems that when kids are little they tend to pick up everything little thing. I picked up the Lauren Layne book and am really looking forward to it. Have a great week!

  9. Aw, sorry to hear about your daughter! It's never fun to be sick. I'm glad it was a relatively quick week though. I think this upcoming week will go by fairly quick for me. I have a lot of things to do at night, along with work during the day, etc.

  15. Julie! Nice to see you around a bit more - I've been missing your updates. I'm sorry to hear the LO was so sick :( That's awful. Sick kids really are the worst and you feel so helpless. Hope she is back on top of things soon.

Hope you are enjoying your latest reads and hope to see you around a bit more in the future! How are things going with the 'new' job? How is the LO coping with daycare (other than getting sick)?

Have a great week and chat again soon!

    1. Hey!! While I was working I was so stressed out and upset that I came home and went straight to bed most days so, I was definitely missing from the blogging world for a while there. I ended up quitting the job because I came home crying from being so stressed out almost every single day. They were extremely short staffed and had me doing the job of multiple people while I was still trying to learn my own position. And there was basically no training, they just sort of throw you into it. It was kind of a nightmare. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be, I guess.

Thanks so much for checking in though, I missed checking in with all my blogger friends!

Hope you have a great week too!
