Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree

Tuesday, December 20, 2016

I'm linking up again this week at The Broke and the Bookish's link up "Top Ten Tuesday".  They have a different topic every week and it was a lot of fun last week meeting some new bloggers and also finding some new books for my TBR list!  This week's topic is: Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree.

(links lead to Goodreads descriptions)

Have you read any of these? What did you think? Or is there another book you would recommend?

  1. Ah so many good books!! I LOVED RPO, Mr. Mercedes, E&P, The Girl on the Train, and Cinder. After You was worth reading if you liked Me Before You. Hope you get all of these!!

  2. I wasn't a fan of the Girl on the Train as I hated the MC-you know what I'm like about my Mcs being people I can like! I hope you have more fun with it if Santa brings it!

    1. Thanks so much! And I know what you mean, I'm not always a fan of books when I can't relate to the MC or even like them, but this one had so much hype this year that I want to give it a shot. And I want to read it before I watch the movie.

  4. Several of these are on my TBR list. After You, Six of Crows, Heartless, A Court of Throne and Roses. Eleanor and Park and Cinder are both really good. Hope you get these under the tree. Merry Christmas!

  5. This year, I was introduced to JoJo Moyes books and I read several of them although I only own Me Before You so it would be a treat to get some more of her books for my library too.

    1. I've only read two books by Jojo Moyes so far. Me Before You was one of them so I definitely wanted to read the sequel, but I've been nervous because the first one wrecked me. lol!

  6. Oh my gosh, if you like romance you will DEFINITELY love A Court of Thorns and Roses! The first book is amazing but the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury, is even better! I can't recommend it enough. I'm reading Heartless right now and really enjoying it so far, too! I hope you have a chance to get these books soon!

    1. Aww really?! That's great to hear. I am a huge romance fan. I definitely want to read more fantasy in 2017. I feel like I go stuck in one genre too long.

  7. Eleanor & Park I need to read. I liked Ready Player One and Girl on the Train was good too- I didn't love it but lots of people did. Hope you get some of these under the tree. :)

    1. I've heard that a lot about Girl on the Train, but I still feel like I want to give it a chance lol! Ready Player One sounds really good, and I love Rainbow Rowell so I have to read that one too.

  8. The ones I want too: Ready Player One and Eleanor and Park. Technically After You as well, but my sister owns it.

Ones I've read: Cinder (so good! I need to read Winter ASAP) and The Girl on the Train (not awful, but super obvious to me).

    1. I've heard so many great things about Cinder, so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it too! A lot of people seem to think Girl on the Train was "meh" but I think I still want to give it a chance. I'll probably be disappointed but I want to read it before seeing the movie

  12. I want to read Heartless so badly! I even own it and I haven't read it yet! I've read Six of Crows, Cinder, Eleanor & Park, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Red Queen, The Girl on the Train, and Ready Player One. Except for The Girl on the Train, I would recommend them all! Ready Player One is going to be a movie soon!
