Life Lately:
I've officially caught my daughter's cold. lol!  My doctor says I have a sinus infection so I get antibiotics and cough medicine.  Thursday I had a migraine on top of all of that and learned that having a coughing fit during a migraine is excruciating.  BUT I'll make it.  I mentioned last week that we had to get bloodwork done for my daughter to see if it was an allergy causing her symtoms, so we got her bloodwork done and they didn't find any allergies.  They are now assuming she just has a sinus infection too and she also has antibiotics. We are a boogery mess in this house.

I made it another week without requesting or picking up a bunch of new books!  I'm pretty proud of myself! I REALLY want to get more books read off of my TBR list, so I'm trying to hold back on requesting new ones for a while.  I will probably start requesting more soon, once I get a couple backlisted books read tho.  I decided to buy the Kasie West book this week because it was on sale and I've heard so many great things about her books.  Can't wait to read it!

    1. Thanks! That was the first time I had a migraine with a cough and sinus infection. It was absolutely awful. I thought my head would explode. I think we are all starting to feel a little bit better...slowly but surely. lol. I'm really excited to give The Fill In Boyfriend a chance! I've heard such great things about Kasie West.

  2. These look good. My son is sick and so are pretty much 50% of the kids where I work. I'm sure I'm going down eventually whether I like it or not. Feel better!

    1. Ugghh, it really does seem like every one I know has been sick too. The weather has been so weird around here too so it really doesn't help my sinus'. It's in the high 50s one day and then way down in the 30s. Thank you!

    1. Thanks so much! I think we are all on our way to getting better now (fingers crossed!) My daughter's cough is just about gone but her nose has started running like crazy. It was post nasal drip so I guess it's coming out her nose instead of down her throat now.

I just saw a review on GR that said Single Malt ends on a cliffhanger so I'm a little bummed. At least I know to expect it, I guess. lol

  9. Awe, I hope you both feel better. Sinus infections and that wicked cough that comes with it are the worst. Yay for avoiding the call of the books. I do very well at not looking..but then those publishers email me and dangle carrots. I love carrots. *facepalm*

  12. Oh Julie! I hope everyone is better soon. I'm kind of glad to hear that it's not a long term allergy condition that you will be dealing with - I just hope that this round of antibiotics clears everything up for you both!

Well done on having no requests and no new books in! That's impressive! I can't say I managed the same and now I really, really need to catch up on some reading this week.

Get well soon and hope you can have a good week!

    1. Thanks so much! Yeah, I am very releived it's not an allergy either. She has a couple small food allergies and those already stress me out. lol! It seems like the antibiotics are clearing things up a bit, so hopefully it will be completely gone soon

Avoiding ARCs has been so hard. I have a feeling when I finally give myself permission to request a few I'm going to go wayyyy crazy with it. lol!

Hope you have a great week too!
