Top Ten 2017 debuts I'm excited for

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

I am linking up today at The Broke and the Bookish's link up "Top Ten Tuesday".  They have a different topic every week and it's a lot of fun to meet some new bloggers and find a bunch of new books to add to my list!  This week's topic is: Top Ten 2017 Debuts I'm Excited For.  I put my own little spin on it and shared all of the YA books I am excited for in 2017.  I feel like there are A TON of potentially great books coming in 2017, so it was hard narrowing down the list!

Are you looking forward to some of these books too?  What are some other books that sound good in the new year (debut or not)?

  1. From your list, I might be thinking about Caraval depending on the reviews I see on it. Haven't fully decided yet.

    1. I wasn't too enthused when I first read the synopsis of Caraval but a lot of my blogger friends have been reviewing it and saying it was really good, so I added it to my list. lol!

  5. These are GREAT choices, Julie! I absolutely loved Caraval and Frostblood - both are so imaginative and engaging, and I can't wait for their sequels. I am really looking forward to reading Wintersong - I've seen only positive reviews, which is awesome!

  6. I wrote out a comment and blogger deleted it! So I am going to try again and apologies if I double post :)

There are some really good picks on here. The ones I've read I recommend and the ones I haven't I REALLY WANT TO.

Wintersong was so gorgeous. I loved the writing, the imagery.. It was a perfect winter read.

Caraval is fun! I liked it quite a bit -- reminded me a bit of The Night Circus? Not quite the same but just a little less ethereal.

I want to read The Blood Rose Rebellion so baaaadly. I love that title and I just hope it's as good as it sounds.

I hadn't heard of Shimmer and Burn before but it's definitely in my TBR now. Cold Summer's cover reminds me of Claudia Gray's Firebird books but I will probably read it based on the cover alone, lol.

Loved this list, but my TBR hates it! :)

I've hear so many great things about Caraval and Wintersong that I can't wait to read them
