12 Books I need to read before they become movies this year

Monday, February 20, 2017

    1. I've never actually read anything by Stephen King. I've always wanted to but haven't gotten the chance yet. I'm not sure where to even start with his books. He has so many. lol!

  2. I want to see a lot of these movies--especially Everything, Everything. I've heard that the book is amazing and that trailer looks pretty great too :)

    1. I am definitely going to have to read Everything Everything soon because the movie looks like it's going to be really good. I've only read one John Green book (Paper Towns) and I didn't love it, but I'm open to giving him another try.

    1. Thanks! Everyone seemed to love Everything Everything so I'm going to try to get that one read soon. Another commenter said that the newest trailer gives a lot away so I'm going to have to avoid it so I don't get any spoilers before I get a chance to read it. lol

    1. Oh man, I am definitely going to have to avoid the trailer then. lol! I don't want any spoiler before I even get a chance to pick up the book. I saw the very first trailer when they announced they were doing the movie, and it just had small glimpses so I think I'm still okay...I hope! lol I would like to read Let It Snow sometime this year too, even though I didn't really care for the previous John Green book I read (Paper Towns). I'm willing to give him a second chance lol.

    1. I hate when movies don't live up to the book expectations. I'm fully prepared to love the books more but I don't like when the movie is just "blah". I hope the movie version of Wonder doesn't let you down!!

    1. haha! I have a friend that is like that. She actually doesn't want to read a book if it's being made a movie because she wants to be surprised when she sees it. I'm the opposite. lol!

  12. I didn't know that It was getting remade. I used to love the cheesy 80's one as a kid. I still need to read it though. I want to read Wonder too. I feel like the only person that hasn't!

    1. I never even saw the 80s one! I'm kind of creeped out by clowns so I avoided it. lol! But now I think I might want to give it a try. I've heard a lot of great things about Wonder too.
