Life Lately:
I was on vacation last week so I missed the Stacking the Shelves & Sunday Post link ups, so these are actually the books I've gotten in the past two weeks.  That's why it looks like so many. lol!  We had a really great vacation.  Our little weekend getaway was absolutely amazing.  I loved the cool historic hotel we stayed at and it had a beautiful view of the mountains.  We got to do some hiking, fine (but relaxed!) dining, and relaxing by the outdoor pool.  Most of all tho, we got to spend time with just each other.  I love doing fun things with our daughter, but sometimes it's nice for some alone time with my husband.  We did a lot of fun things with our daughter throughout the week tho.  She's still adjusting to him going back to work this week...needless to say she's not happy.  She wants her dad home every day. lol

Blogwise, I'm still working on catching up with ARCs...as usual.  I started to catch up but then I requested some books from a publisher and ended up getting all of the ones I asked for when I only expected to many get one or two. lol!  It was a very pleasant surprise but it's definitely going to keep me busy for a while!  I'm very grateful tho!

This coming week I am hopeing to start a few projects around the house...like finally getting around to tackling the basement and decluttering the house.  We have SO MUCH STUFF!  I feel like I'm always cleaning and it gets messy too fast and I'm running out of room to put things so I feel a big purge coming.  We'll see if I can get motivated tho...

  1. Trying to get my house in order is a never ending task! It never seems to look any tidier even after hours of working on it! I need to try and organise my time better to spend less time at the computer if that is indeed causing my sore neck. THAT should be interesting! Have a great weekend and enjoy your books!

    1. It is definitely a never-ending task, and add on the fact that I have a 4 year old that destroys any area I've already straightened while I'm trying to work on another...lol! I also need to find a better computer/book/cleaning balance. I always feel like I'm neglecting something when I can't get to it. Hope you have a great weekend too! Happy reading!

  2. Lots of abs in your haul lol! I got the Kate Meader one too and I'm super excited to read. *sigh* Catching up on arcs syndrome is real! I always feel like I'm behind too even though I read a ton. Good luck with the decluttering of the house! :)
